Les has been my ‘amp guy‘ for years, in fact he fixes pretty much anything in my whole rig from the P.A down to effects pedals.

I’ve always liked using my own tech instead of a shop mainly because of communication,  i can call him up and say “it’s making this funny noise” and a lot of the time Les will diagnose the problem there and then.

Les understands the ‘need for speed’ and is no stranger to the phrase “I need it for the gig on Saturday man…”

Les used to be the repair guy at Manchester’s now world infamous A1 music in the 70’s and as a result was fixing the equipment of busy touring bands on a daily basis!

I’d frankly be lost without him and as a few of you have asked me about gear problems i had a word with Les and he said it was cool for me to put his contact details up for you.
