Hi Anthony.

"Bedding in" is a bit of a myth. If you put your strings on your guitar and leave them they will take a long time to "settle" because they are still very elastic.

You can stop this by bending the pre-tension out of the strings;
- String your guitar
- Tune it
- bend the 6th string a few times
- tune it again.

Do this with each string until it stops going out of tune and your done,
Hope this helps
JD.

PS, i'm doing a guitar setup DVD before the end of the year, sign up for email updates and I'll let you know when its coming out :-)

Hi John,
I reckon you should do a lesson on how to do cool Dorian and Blues Scale tapping runs and how to work them into your playing!
Or
How to get your speed picking skills up to scratch and basics of speed licks!
Or
Fast Blues Licks!
Later,
Ben
